About Me

I’m Maria Elena Castro—speaker, author, and certified spiritual life coach—passionate about guiding others into healing and freedom through the transforming power of God’s grace. As co-founder of God’s Girls and Vice President of the Isaiah 61 Evening Chapter, I share my story of redemption to inspire hope for the broken, strength for the weary, and purpose for the unseen.

On March 3, 2019, everything changed. At a non-denominational church in Austin, Texas, I surrendered my life to Jesus Christ after experiencing His miraculous healing. Diagnosed with Viral Cardiomyopathy and given only six months to live, I witnessed God’s power firsthand as He healed my body and transformed my heart. From that day forward, I have been fully sold out for Him.

Today, I dedicate my life to empowering women to walk boldly in their God-given calling. 

Through God’s Girls, the Isaiah 61 Evening Chapter, and my three books, I create spaces and resources to remind women that they are not alone, that they can and will survive, and that they are stronger than they realize.
